I play pretty much every single one that hits the market, and ive been playing them since before it ever trended in the West
I play otome to have a Good Time. Or get murdered by a beautiful person, either or is okay with me. So if I like one, it was one of those two things :)

Things that belong in otome games:
-PRONOUNS, love to see it
-Renamable protags? thank god.
-Customization or being able to hide the default MC portrait
-More Nonbinary, trans, poc, non-nt, disabled, and fat love interests- and women too. The more the merrier.
-Trigger warnings. Please god. I have trauma, my dudes. Not trying to relive it every time i play a video game
